My name is Clifford Casseseka and I am the Cultural Resources Specialist for the Yakama Nation in Washington State .  I, and other members of the Nation, worked with Lois and Schwennesen & Associates on difficult negotiations relating to the re-licensing of a hydro-electric project. 

Throughout these negotiations, Lois demonstrated a thorough understanding of the government-to-government tribal consultation and other treaty rights.  Lois objectively provided assistance which increased our ability to be effective in negotiating with state, federal and local governments as well as citizen and environmental groups.  Lois worked closely with our biologists, attorneys, and our policy members.  Lois has the capacity to grasp our needs and interests, communicate those interests to other parties at the negotiating table, and respect our traditions and tribal procedures. 

I am also aware she has worked with a number of other tribes in the Pacific NW and is familiar with and sensitive to the legal and cultural differences (and similarities) between tribes and non-tribal entities.
